Just APPRECIATE and Let the Magic Happen!

Happy Employee Appreciation Day people!! Let’s spare a day for the Team that works endlessly for us. C’mon, they deserve it!
There’s often something we all want from life. We all live for a dream – a dream that defines us, a dream that completes us.
A ‘just-a-job’ employee, does just enough to keep his job while complaining what’s not fair or what’s not right at work. A ‘team-player’ works positively together with everyone to get the job done the best way possible. See the difference?
All we want by our side, is a team player. Don’t we?
“I love my job. My workplace inspires me.” If this isn’t what your employees are saying, there’s certainly something wrong going on, and that must STOP. And that’s probably the lack of motivation and appreciation.
3rd March is celebrated as the Employees Appreciation Day. Why not on this day, tell your employees that you care? Quite an idea, we believe!
Teamwork is the secret that makes common people achieve uncommon things. And if you build that team spirit among your employees, we bet, you would see wonders happening soon. You cannot have it all just by yourself. Don’t always be on the run after things you desire. Appreciate what you have. One thing at a time. Step by step, you will be on the top and how!
At work, you’re not as boring as you’d think. You don’t necessarily have to gossip around, socialise, party hard or flirt at the drop of a hat to be cool. The trick is way simpler. Just be nice. Say appreciating things. Say thank you for little and big efforts your team/employees are putting in.
Are your employees not motivated enough towards the company goals? Do you feel, despite getting all the thing in places, you are still not able to beat your competition? Do you realise your team members aren’t productive enough? If dear friend, your answer to all the above questions is YES, we have got something to help you out here. All you need to do is to APPRECIATE.

Appreciation can do wonders. We’re all more vulnerable and needy than we like to imagine. Genuinely, appreciating others will make you feel better about yourself, and it will also upsurge the possibility that they’ll invest more in their work, and in you. The human instinct for reciprocity runs deep. If you appreciate and show interest in people by highlighting good things they have done, they’ll be drawn towards you like you had not expected. Who wouldn’t want that?
If you happen to be a leader in the hierarchy, remember that people will work harder and do more for you and the company, if they know they will be recognised for their accomplishments. Show them often that you care for them and they will be loyal to you, come what may. Moreover, you will feel more fulfilled because you have done something to make someone else’s life better. You sure would be glad to do that.
As we say and believe, surprises come from people, when you least expect them! So, just do your part by appreciating them enough and let the magic happen. There’s no absolute right or wrong in this world. Just perceptions. You have the capability of changing things around with just being appreciative. If you have been wondering on how to make your workplace a positive one, here are some pro tips:
- Give the benefit of doubt: Don’t read into other people’s action.
- Practice generosity of spirit: Don’t wait for someone else to share or help, do it first.
- Speak well of others: And if you have nothing nice to say- SHUT UP!
- Look at what works: There’s always something good in every situation- find it.
- Show appreciation: Say THANK YOU more often.
And trust us, in no time you would release you are developing faster and better! Remember, appreciation is the key.
Let us continue with a wonderful quote, by Steve Jobs. “Great things in business are never done by one person. They are done by a team of people”.
Is he right or is he right? Ha.
